Self Storage is locally owned and operated by Jim and Carol Zuhusky.
Jim’s family has been in the moving and storage business for
over 35 years. Despatch Self Storage is a business that
sprouted from their moving and storage company.
Our
goal was to provide a full range of services for our clients and we
discovered a need for self storage in our area. Many clients
require frequent access and they like to have control over their
belongings.
We
built Despatch in Bridgehampton Village because it is a central
Hamptons location. The buildings are constructed with fireproof
steel and concrete to provide the safest atmosphere for your
belongings. The driveways have wide aisles and the facility is
well lit on the exterior as well as interior hallways. Adding
“true” climate control has been a favorite feature at Despatch
Self Storage. We work hard to keep the grounds and the hallways meticulously clean.
Knowing
that security is important when your goods are in storage, we
installed closed circuit TV monitors, electronic door alarms on each
room and an electronic gate that monitors all access to the
property. These features give added peace of mind when you store with us.
Our
staff is always ready with helpful advice and a kind word. We
can estimate your space requirements and even help you plan the move
into storage. Our office is equipped with all the packing
materials you may need to complete your move into storage. We have carts available to make moving into your storage room
easier.
